Royalty-free licence

“Royalty-free” means you pay once and can use the image multiple times without extra fees. For all licenses, reselling, editing, and unethical use are prohibited.

Web-optimized images

Web-optimized images are formatted for online use, with fast loading times and small file sizes, ideal for websites and social media. Not intended for printing or large-scale use and is prohibited from being printed due to the low resolution of the image.

High-resolution images

High-resolution images offer maximum quality, ideal for print and projects needing detail. Suitable for resizing while keeping quality. Note: When purchasing high-res images, the web-optimized version will be included.

Usage for small & medium businesses

We've created an affordable license that allows free use of images for marketing, social media, websites and in print. This license is designed for small and medium-sized businesses with limited marketing budgets.

Large companies and national campaigns (e.g. Rema 1000, DNB, Telenor, etc.)

For large companies and national campaigns (e.g. Rema 1000, DNB, Telenor, etc.), a customized license and adjusted pricing are required for wide distribution or long duration.

Why the difference based on a large/small/medium businesses?

Large national campaigns require a different license for higher exposure and additional rights, while small and medium-sized businesses have more flexible, locally suited terms.

What should you do?

If you're unsure which license you need or represent a large company planning a national campaign, contact us for a customized agreement to ensure proper use of the images.

Reselling

Reselling images is prohibited.

Editing

It is not allowed to edit the images you purchase in any image editing software, not even applying a filter or anything else. This is the photographer's work, and it is illegal to alter anything without the photographer's consent.

Unethical use

The images cannot be used in ways that are stigmatizing or culturally disrespectful towards people, animals, or nature. Commercial use must respect the context of the image and may not exploit Sámi culture or individuals.

Can I purchase an image to print it out myself?

Yes, it is possible. You would need to purchase the image, which costs NOK 4,500. Notice: however, we cannot guarantee the image quality or the final result if you choose to do this yourself.

Watermark

The images will not have a watermark when downloaded.

It is always a good idea to credit the photographer behind the image. However, we understand that in some cases it may be difficult to do so. In such instances, it can be helpful to mention the photographer in related texts or other communications.
